Post-natal Care of Your Beauty


Having a baby takes a great deal of energy. Even though you have been following a good ante-natal beauty programme, you are bound to feel tired and exhausted for the first few months after the birth of the child. Your skin may be looking dull and your hair lacking in shine.


Make sure that your diet is rich in nutrients, e.g., plenty of vitamin C, proteins and minerals. Keep up the iron supplement you took  before your baby was born. If your skin looks pale and sallow, use a pink-tinged make-up for a month or so to give you colour and add a little blusher. Put on light eye make-up and lipstick everyday. Choose bright and pretty colours.

Your hair needs special care. Have it trimmed regularly and wash it frequently. Use a conditioner after each shampoo. Watch your nails to prevent cracking and splitting. Be lavish with perfume.
